Writer: Wes SimpsonWes Simpson

Just released - special introductory price.

This new course is designed for users who want to explore the use cases and basic functions of RIST, SRT and RTMP and those who want an unbiased comparison between them. After completing this course, students should understand the capabilities of these protocols, how they work, and how to select products with the right features for their applications.

All three of these protocols are currently being used to send broadcast quality video over the public Internet, and are supported by multiple vendors. RIST stands for Reliable Internet Stream Transport, and is defined in specifications released by the VSF. SRT stands for Secure Reliable Transport and was originally developed by Haivision and Wowza. RTMP stands for Real Time Messaging Protocol, which was created by Macromedia and used as part of Adobe Flash.

The course, created by LearnIPvideo.com, consists of 37 lessons in 11 chapters. Most chapters include a short quiz. A certificate of achievement will be awarded to all students who successfully complete the final exam. #RIST #SRT #RTMP #OnlineCourse #OnlineClass #VSF #Haivision #Wowza #Adobe
