AES 67 Drives Audio Interoperability at NAB

Looking around the North Hall at NAB this year, it is clear that AES 67 is rapidly becoming the "lingua franca" of IP audio networking. There were a number of booths showing live AES 67 demos, including the RAVENNA booth that featured the ARG Quarra PTP switch providing interconnections among a large collection of products from famous audio manufacturers, including Lawo, Ward-Beck, ALC Networks, Genelec and others. The Media Networking Alliance booth showed products from 10 different companies working together, as well as listing 27 companies that are active participants.
